Its been a long time since I've posted here..

In looking outside my kitchen window, I've had some really great things going on and quite recently some really not so great things going on.

For instance, traveling to Las Vegas to see my new baby granddaughter. The grandaughter is special beyond compare, but the getting there and back was something else.

Security in airports suck. But I guess its one of those necessary evils. Airline food ugh. That is if you can even get any. The last couple of times I flew to Las Vegas they had meal service.. but a sandwich consisting of roll and some cold cuts just..well..ugh. And the early morning flight served a crossaint with egg and cheese.. it really wasn't all that appealing. Course up in first class it was a whole different menu. With the price you pay it better be.

Another thing is freinds moving away.. Now that sucks even more than airports and icky airplane food. I'm not good with time zone changes.. or that I just can't jump in the car and be over at a freinds' house hanging out or not be able to share a hug with someone or see the sparkle in thier eyes and all of that. Its just depressing when you think about it. Course people move for all kinds of reasons and logically its cool. Emotionally for me its another matter.. kind of like a train wreck. People say it will be ok.. I'm still not totally convinced of that.

Anyway.. I'm getting a little brain dead here.. so I'll close for now.
